I heart voiceover and video projects. There are few things more fun, interesting or exciting than helping a client get the shot or sound they really want. When I work on a project - whether it's on-camera or behind the mic - I bring everything I've got to the table.
That's a lot of humor, professionalism and more than 15 years of experience comin' at ya!
(Here’s where I could ramble on about my many years of experience and how I…blah, blah, blah.)
Instead, here’s a few highlights you might find more interesting.
1. I’m kind of a roving corporate reporter for production companies. I’ve interviewed, coached-on-camera and shared the stories of hundreds of people - from major executives at global companies (like Stephen MR Covey, Marshall Goldsmith, leaders at American Airlines, US Olympic Committee, Ford Canada and oters)...to kids with cancer. Each story has forever changed me.
2. "Hats": I’ve worn many in my career: radio DJ, reporter, public relations associate, marketing associate, video producer, consultant, voiceover artist and on-camera talent (I believe I’ve “played” a doctor at least seven times.)
3. I was once called the “Navy Seals” of voiceover artists after reading non-stop through 168 pages of copy. I slept like a baby that night.
4. Many of my colleagues have openly said that I do fantastic work, and they’ve given me awards and accolades to prove it. Thanks, all!
5. There are just two rules for my “work”: it should be fun and I should learn something. I’ve followed these ideals throughout my career and I’ve rarely been wrong.
6. I’ve spent the vast majority of my career hanging around newsrooms and production studios. Yes, my sister is an actual TV news anchor and that means that the “TV Lady’s Sister” (me) has had the incredible opportunity to get to know news and video production on a very intimate level.
7. I don’t like olives but I really wish I did.
8. “Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have.” – Eckhart Tolle. Favorite quote.
